# I would like to apologize for previous thread

Hey there, I don’t know of this is acceptable, but I would like to say sorry for posting that previous message regarding the WTC/Pentagon crashes. I probably should have put them in Great Debates or the BBQ Pit. The thing is, I didn’t want to _start_ a great debate or rant, I just wanted to bring up an interesting point that I have yet to see discussed in the media. I realize now that it was probably next to impossible not to start a GD or a Pit-style message with this topic, but I wish there could be some reasonable discussion on this. Did you _have_ to close the thread though? Couldn’t you have moved it to a new forum? I would have like to have heard other people’s reactions even if they were tinged by GD or Pit-style acrimony.

It occurs to me that perhaps we already have a glut of WTC posts and so we don’t need another. I appreciate the effort to keep things under control, which is why I am apologizing for posting a thread that I probably should have known wasn’t going to work.

Go ahead and close _this_ thread down right away. There really isn’t going to be any useful discussion that comes from this thread. I figured this would be a way to apologize to the moderators and also let the other posters see that I realize my mistake.
