A lady in my town got an SUV out of her divorce, and since the divorce came about because of her husband’s infidelity, she got a vanity plate that read : LAST2NO I’ve seen a truck around town that says simply CRAB. Why? Why crab? Oh and we also have a JESUS. Apparently Jesus drives a beat up blue Buick. Heh. ---

I have a friend who’s plate reads 1K-334. Doesn’t look like much at first but when you do the math (realizing that 1K=1000) it makes a whole lof of sense. It’s the only way he got it by the DMV censors. I saw a green VW Bug that said GRNEGGS. ---

Not a vanity plate, but there was a story on the news here in Utah a few months back about a man who applied for plates for his car and was assigned **911 WTC**. ---

I’ve seen license plates that take advantage of the similarities between the Cyrillic and Latin alphabets to get some fairly nasty insults by the DMV. And just yesterday I saw a license plate with the legend SCHWUL, which IIRC is German for “horny”. ---

Its not a vanity plate and I rather like it… But I see a lot of liscense plate holders that say: My other ride is a cowboy WOO HOO! I have a friend that has Crabbe on his plates… why? … because its his last name and we call him crabby ---

One of my favorites that I’ve seen in person was a little red RX7 with the vanity plate “HI OFCR” I raced that little car and the brunette in it down the highway on my motorcycle for a while, exceeding 90 mph at times. When we both stopped for gas I tried to nonchalantly chat her up, saying “you must have a hell of a good radar detector in that little buggy”. “No”, she replied. “Why would I need that ?”. Best all-around grin goes to a black Impala with the vanity plate “VLAD”. ---

This is a _good_ one, but a friend of mine in Toronto had an acquaintance whose vanity plate read “WE FEW” (think Henry V’s Crispin’s Day speech here). If I ever have to change over to Missouri plates I might have to steal that. 😉 There’s one I see in the parking garage at school sometimes that reads “SQDWRD.” 😉 ---

I saw OHMYGAWD on some sorority girl’s giant SUV once. I also saw “LV2SHAG”. Someone at the DMV must have been asleep at the switch. I also saw PBLCSUX the other day but wasn’t sure what it meant. ---

I drove by a Corvette driven by a rather attractive blonde woman, her plate read: BIGTTT …It took me a few days, but I finally figured it out. Unfortunately I was standing in line at the market, slapped my head, and blurted out “OH, Big TEASE!”. The lady checking me out had quite a look on her face as I made a quick exit. ---

I mean why? If you want to contribute money to that fund (the personal plates here are linked to various causes) why not just cut a check to that fund and cut out the middlebureaucrat? Or are they really so dull that they can’t thinkof anything better but still wanted a vanity plate REALLY really bad? I shouldn’t throw stones though, I have a vanity plate which to the ignorant and unobservant could lead them to believe I am a dominatrix or queen of frothy cream; really, it is an homage to my dogs and all that has been ceded to them. ---
