Later that day I realized, that man was **Charles Manson**. Of course he wasn’t _the_ Charles Manson, as he’s in prison. This was Mike and Helene Manson’s son Charles (goes by Chuck). I initially didn’t recognize him in the parka and stocking cap. But the point is, had the _real_ Charles Manson escaped from prison earlier that day, it very well could have been him I hired to shovel snow. Next thing you know, Squeeky woulda been by wanting to clean out my gutters. Which maybe wouldn’t have been all bad, they really need done. ---

You you call $40 “money on hand” of sufficient opulence that it would trigger jewel thieves? ---

Hoping to see an update that the tree is salvageable.
