I know some people here have been following the story of this miscarriage of justice, where a deaf British aid worker was jailed in India for a crime he had no connection with.

Well, they just let him out of jail.

Ian Stillman is a friend of my mother’s - she worked with him in the eighties in India with deaf children. It’s great news 🙂 I understand that because he’s been freed for health reasons and thus not aquitted he may have to leave the country, which will be a shame since India is where he’s made his life. But at least he’s free!
