# iCal: deleting a read-only event

I clicked on a calendar item in Mac Mail, and it’s for some stupid lunch that repeats every Tuesday ad infinitum. It comes up in gray in the interface, and there seems to be no way to delete it. Arrrrgh!

How do I delete this gray, repeating event?!
