I’m partial to anything [cherry](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=660438) and wish I’d included the Cherry family. Funny thing is both of them were rock musicians. Everybody’s heard of Garcia, but [Cherry Vanilla](http://www.allmusic.com/artist/cherry-vanilla-mn0000107916) is much less famous. Rather, the ice cream named for her has far outpaced her in fame, such that most people’s first association with the phrase is ice cream rather than music. ---

Choc chip, although the ice cream manufacturers here seem to be not making it so much. Clearly, they have no idea how much I like choc chip ice cream or they’d increase output immediately. Other than that, I’ve become partial to jaffa. ---

This seriously sounds amazing. I’ve never even heard of licorice ice cream, but licorice and orange are two of my favorite flavors of anything! But enough of that: I voted other, because the best ice cream I’ve ever had was Cotton Candy, from Cold Stone Creamery. I only recently discovered the place, but seriously? Amazing cotton candy flavor. Mixed with gummi bears, just 'cause. ---

The reason I picked chocolate was because while I may like some of the other flavors better, I don’t _always_ like them better. If I had to pick one to stick with for the rest of my life, chocolate would be the best bet. ---

Vanilla, please, although French vanilla is also good. I’ll go with butter pecan next. Not a huge chocolate ice cream guy, myself. It’s okay, but there’s about a dozen other flavors I prefer. ---

Black Walnut is my favorite. Wasn’t on the poll. Strawberry is my second favorite. Thats what I voted for. Black Walnut can be tough to find. I usually find it maybe once every ten times I look.
