A propos of today’s oldie, [recent entries](http://www.peoplespharmacy.com/2013/09/16/triggering-brain-freeze-may-stop-migraine-headache-fast/) in Joe and Terry Graedon’s _The People’s Pharmacy_ column indicate that purposely triggering an ice cream headache may actually offer relief from a migraine.

Hm, back when I was getting the hormone induced migraines I would have cut my head off if I thought it would have helped …

Although, to be honest, I can’t get ice cream headaches - I have enough fillings in my teeth I am in agony if I try to drink or eat anything ice cold fast enough to get an ice cream headache ☹

You need to get a Mr. Misty from Dairy Queen and just pour it down your throat, bypassing your teeth altogether. Guaranteed unparalleled ice cream headache!

I suppose an Icee would also work, but I can’t vouch for it personally.
