Ice cream is for dumb people? How does somebody come up with a statement like that without it being a sign that their synapses are misfiring? The only way it would make sense is if this girl is some kind of health Nazi and she was making a muddled comment about how bad ice cream is because it’s laden with fat, sugar, and calories. BTW, my favorites are peppermint, banana, and chocolate-covered cherry. ---

Ben & Jerry’s New York Super Fudge Chunk, Phish Food, Cherry Garcia – heck, pretty much all flavors of super-premium ice cream – are signs that there is a Divine plan for the Human race, and that plan is for us to be happy and to share our happiness with others. How do we know that we are to be happy? Because super-premium ice creams taste _sooooooo_ good. How do we know that we are to share our happiness? Becuase super-premium ice cream comes in pint containers, which is a good helping of ice cream for two people if they snuggle together. _For Israel and for the teachers, for their students and for all the students’ students…_ Which is Judaism’s very rough equivalent of Gazelle’s “Thus endeth the lesson.” ---

I discovered the most delicious ice cream last night… Edy’s Dreamery just recently came out with a flavour called “Fortunate Vanilla.” It’s vanilla ice cream with chocolate covered fortune cookie pieces and fudge swirled in. ::drools:: So, erm, **pizzabrat** , what was the point of starting this thread? I mean, the whole ice cream thing was brought up in an “interesting” way, but, well, all the blathering that made up the rest of your post just makes ya sound like a pissy teenager. (Not trying to be mean or anything, just stating my opinion.) ---

**Gazelle** :Right church, wrong pew. Baskin-Robbins _Pralines & Cream_ is the stuff that dreams are made of. Other companies have their own version, and I have found them all wanting. Most are flavorless, some are harsh,a few aren’t even sweet enough. Don’t they get it? You don’t have to do fractional analysis or drag out the gas chromatograph in order to make a superior ice cream. My hat is off to the Messrs. B & R. ---

Are you high? Baskin Robbins’s best flavor is obviously Chocolate Mousse Royale. I held a winner-take-all ice cream tournament once and the semifinalists were that one and Ben & Jerry’s Chunky Monkey. You know who won? Me. ---

Damn, I am completely out of ice cream. Blue Bell pecan pralines and cream or turtles & cream, or just plain ol’ homemade vanilla. I even like mine in a big waffle cone. 😃 Dammit… just remembered I’m out ☹ ---

Ice cream is kinda like sex. Vanilla (missionary) is good, then again so is chocolate (not missionary 😉 ) Some folks like fruit in their dessert. That’s cool too, I haven’t really tried it. Except for an occasional cherry. I said before that I like pecan…some folks got nuts others just are. Now we all have our favorite flavor. But I like to change it up a bit from good old vanilla.
