I don’t even know which thread to put this in. On Sunday, just north of Seattle city limits, [ICE arrested a man](https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/federal-agents-arrest-man-in-front-of-2-year-old-son-in-shoreline) on his way to drop his 2-year-old son off at daycare before work. The 2-year-old had to sit alone in the car for 40 minutes until a co-worker could come and retrieve him. The father is the lead cook at a Cuban sandwich shop that I go to. It’s now closed. No idea whether he was targeted, or stopped at random. ---

Oh yeah, I heard about that on the local news this morning. I was somewhat surprised that ICE even bothered to stick around and wait for someone to pick up the kid, and didn’t just leave the kid abandoned in the car. ---
