Evening all. 10 out of 12 girls made it to soccer practice, things went well despite the 93F temperatures. Only problem was one sitting behind me when I decided to back up. Took a tumble, the kid was fine and somewhat surprisingly, so was I. Made sure players knew that rule #1 was don’t get behind the coach… The Tuesday Mac-n-Cheese has been consumed and last bill of the month paid, so all is right with the world. **Butters** , yeah I knew who Rowdy Yates was, had to double-check if it was the actor I thought it was and I was right Clint Eastwood. **Nut** , hope the bees are calm come honey time. Barking for 10 hours, **doggio**? Apparently Gordie is…a dog. Everybody have a good evening. ---

I irked. I applied for transfer to another branch of Da Jungle I applied for a slightly different schedule at my current branch of Da Jungle. Tomorrow I will sacrifice a chicken to JB and anoint his Holy Image with blood and rum and burn a trillion dollar bill in his honor. And keep my fingers crossed as well. 😃 ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 74 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 91 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. Today I shall take care of usual church duties (trash cans, etc), get the oil changed in twuck (hopefully the place I use will not be busy this bein’ a weekday), lay in provisions, and make sup which is as of now TBD as to what. I shall look for inspiration whilst at the Pubic Sto’. I live such an excitatin’ life! **Cookie** forgot to say yestiddy, have fun on your trip! **Sunny** sounds like the move is comin’ along. Still, better thee than me. 😃 **Ruble** good luck with the transfer/schedule change. Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. **swampy** , I meant to ask you: My MIL said the WalMart in Ocala carries Sonny’s BBQ sauce. Have you ever noticed it in your WalMart? Alas, it’s not in ours, and I was wondering if it was just carried in stores near the restaurants. For the record, we’ll stock up this weekend when we take them home. 😃 ---

Happy Hump Day! It’s a cloudy 72 degrees outside. I think it’s gonna rain. I got Ripple off to daycare. As soon as I got back my son wanted to know when we were going to lunch. We’ll go between 2 and 3 when the place isn’t crowded. Their parking lot is pretty full at lunch and dinner time. I decided to irk this morning instead of irking in the yard. It’s not nice outside, already humid. Also, I have to take off Firday morning because now the electric company is working on our street and the power will be shut off sporadically. I knew their time was coming, we have all new water lines and meters, new gas lines and meters, the street has been repaved and new lines painted on it. Now we are getting new wires, but since they are above the ground (we still have telephone poles around here) nothing is going to need to be dug up. There is a new internet company in the area too, they have been out back stringing up new lines. Usually they are blocking the alley but yesterday they were parked out back on my and the neighbor’s parking pads. I thought those cables went underground, seems I thought wrong. Very busy out there. ---

Morning. At irk, as usual. Tis a bright and clear day after the storms of yesterday and last night. Today is maid day so I got up and did a few things to get ready for her. I started laundry and the dishwasher and gathered the trash. Poor Buddy is locked in his crate until she leaves then he will have access to a larger area but still confined. I can’t trust him yet to be loose in the house. I need to get busy I guess once I finish this coffee… ---

Morning all. Got up early to start my laundry, only to discover I had no detergent. So after fiddling a bit, got dressed and went to Kroger, and of course realized I needed Mayo as I was out, then picked up some bottled water for soccer games, and they had the NY Times and Pepsi 2-liters were 4 for 0.89 cents each…so I managed to get out only $31 poorer. Undergarments are washing right now with the shirts on deck. Typed out the soccer schedules for all three teams this season (finally published them late last night) and now have to remember to take them with me to practice and pass them out. 10U boys is tonight. Raisin bread and Pepsi have been consumed (hey, I’m 66, I can eat what I damn well please for breakfast) so life is good. All y’all take care. ---
