I remember Slurpees first appearing in 7-11s. This was in the mid to late 60s in Northern Delaware. I don’t recall when Icees entered my consciousness, but I remember thinking they were just a copy of Slurpees. ---

I remember getting Icees at Thrifty Drug Stores in the 70s. ---

Icees came first? FUCK ME, I thought they were a Slurpee knock off. This is like the Hydrox/Oreo thing all over again… ---
