Thanks for the heads-up on prices - I don’t think any of the places I checked online mentioned that. I don’t drink, so I’ll save some money that way.
My attitude towards food is that I’ll try almost anything twice (after all, it might be an acquired taste). When I was doing a quick check of potential tours and activities this morning I saw a foodie tour that looked interesting.
Be weary of the hákarl (rotten shark), though.
My wife and I have been to Iceland a couple of times, I’ll see if I can sort out a few highlights later (in transit right now, so this is mostly so that I don’t forget).
Lovely. I plan on taking a lot of pictures while I’m there. Also while I’m Scotland after I’m in Iceland. (A friend specifically asked me to get some photos of the moors, which I’m hoping I can get to from Glasgow.)
