# icky question, about the International Space Station TMI

So um I should run from the room humming loudly instead of thinking about it, but part of my mind has to know.

How do they handle erm female hygiene in space? Do they keep it in a bag? Inject it into space? Do they use device instead of conventional means? Or does Astronaut training snuff out a need for much of it?

Curse you morbid curiosity.

How is this much ickier than managing regular bladder/bowel output?
