Either that or somebody on some really good drugs.

Eh, I’ve seen worse scripts for bots. And, well, if it was a person, I daresay s/he would fail a Turing test.

I get IM-ed by one every so often. The latest one was last week and it freely admited it was some sort of ICQ-bot when I asked, “Do I know you?”.

Anoying if you ask me.
