So, basically the OP is looking for something like this guy.
Only, ya know, real.

One of my cats weighs around 25 lbs. He is a very affectionate cat. You just don’t want him to sit on you without warning.
I want a liger.
The Best Cat Ever was Ernie. He was a 26 pound Maine Coon. We all lived only to care for and admire his wondefulness. When Bus Kid was a 3 month old, he accidently scratched her just under her eye when running past her. He took the beating ofhis young life but from that day on, her safety and well being was HIS JOB. Any stranger that came into the house and came near her would find Ernie keeping a close eye on them.
Every single night til the night before he went over the bridge, he would follow her to bed and sit on her bedroom floor, facing the door until he was confident she was asleep.
If Bus Kid cried for any reason, he looked around for someone or something to blame and punish.
I miss him. Best. Cat. Ever.
I still say I want a folstza.
I had a 27 lb cat. She was just fat, though. I miss my girl - she passed away last October:(.
I would love a big cat, though! My boy seems like a Maine Coon, but he’s more Turkish Angora - he’s very, very LONG with a very fine bone structure. He’s really cute.
I’d like a cat the size of a golden retriever. I love my aunt’s goldens, especially when they think they’re little, and can curl up on your lap. That’d rock with a big cat. Can you imagine the purring they’d give you?
E.
Oh yes, the medium big kitties rock. Servals, ocelots-my favorite place at the Philly Zoo is the cathouse. (No nasty jokes!)
I think I mistakenly gave the impression that I was actually planning to breed monster kitties. No, sorry, I just think it would be really cool to have huge housecats. Just like it would be really cool to have a prehensile tail, but I’m not planning on breeding humans like that, either.
Those savannas are gorgeous kitties (and they sound like they have wonderful temperaments, too, Paul).
OK, so I’m in love with the cat in this photo. I wonder if it’s real, though. This was e-mailed to me a year or so ago; it sure looks real, but people are clever and Photoshop is perfect for producing the outlandish.
It’s real. Linky.
Where the Hell did you get that?
How’s about one of these babies?
Okay, that’s it. I want a safari cat.
It’s such a pretty cat, and would go well with my love of jungle print, too.
I’d rather have a tiny cat. We have three eight week old boys…I’d love it if they’d stay that size.
I had a maine coon once. He was one of the coolest cats I’ve ever seen. He tipped the scales at around 18 pounds at a few months old. He tipped the “wacky” scale at 110%. What a goofball he was.
Sadly Satan the Maine Coon vanished one day.
I wonder if one could collect some of the largest of the maine coons and cross breed them to be larger? I don’t know much about breeding but it would be an excuse to have huge 10 maine coons around the house.
THAT’S the spirit!
[nitpick]
This would just be simple breeding, not *cross breeding.
[/nitpick]
Still, I’m onboard with the idea.
No, THIS is The Spirit.
No it’s not. There’s no bobcat whatsoever in Pixiebobs.
Steve.
This is Eddy. He’s lying at the foot of a double bed. His brother Freddy is almost as big as he is. They are both way cool cats, very laidback. I once measured Eddy from withers to tailhead at 18 inches.
Yes, I’ve often thought how cool it would have been to breed Eddy to the biggest female I could find. Unfortunately, he and his brothers were already altered when I got them at age four months.
Oh, and if you’re wondering, Teddy is merely good-sized normal.
Orange tiger boys RULE. It’s my dream some day to have an orange tiger Maine Coon.
Or two.
Maybe three.
