Reminds me of my best friend’s worthless roomate. Unfortunately, her antics have been going on for so long (7+ YEARS) I’m kind of bored of being annoyed by her, and have become annoyed by my friend for putting up with it for so long. The SDMB has taught me some constructive ways to deal with my frustration in the matter. ---

It was like mountain spring water from the Garden of Eden – and tasted like manna from heaven. I am passing you with flying colours!” As for a direct link – I would PM it to you, but it’s actually on her Myspace so you would have to friend her. I realise that another reason I read them is that they allow me to feel superior a bit – with my normal inferiority complex, it’s a nice feeling. Hee hee! Maybe I will pull a few more to post. As for giving “Willow” a link to the Dope? No way in hell that’s going to happen. Even if I didn’t post this, I wouldn’t want her desecrating my hallowed ground! ---

You could read this before congress an get the internet shut down. If only she would confine her whinging to her blog, I could see the benefit. A diary for narcissists, people who think that just because they’ve got two brain cells to rub together to form an opinion, it’s as valid as anyone else’s. And worthy of publication. But if she’s writing this crap _and_ bitching IRL? Yikes. ---

It is not about humiliating anyone. I don’t have any desire to confront her about anything – her ignorance will never be fought, because it is willful. I have removed all information that could connect her to a real-life person. Unless you are this person, I don’t really understand your dog in this fight? (If the truth be told, I didn’t really know it was a fight – I thought it was a simple, albeit somewhat lame, pitting of willful ignorance.) I don’t see the need to invite more stupid onto the board, though. Generally we get enough stupid as it is. And I think of this sort of person as a lost cause, really. There’s the old saying “Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes clean to the bone.” In this case, I think it would be “Smart is only skin deep, but ignorance goes clean to the bone.” Not even the combined efforts of all Dopers, prolific or not, could help this woman with her ignorance. Though she probably would blog about how everyone on this new site is Mean and Hateful to her. ---

This chick reminds me of **80sHairMetalMaven/IDigBadBoys** who used to post here. She talked about how she was pregnant, McDonald’s wasn’t giving her any maternity leave, and she and her hubby were renting furniture for like $500 a month. Every time somebody called her on some discrepancy, she would accuse them of engaging in personal attacks against her. She eventually gave a big dramatic “I’m leaving you meanies forever” speech and sped back to the trailer park. **Litoris** ’s pal fills that void. ---

I should mention that “Willow” is “wiccan.” I put it in quotes because her “coven” claims to only allow “perfect love and trust” into their midst – she’s not the only example of that “perfect love and trust” in that group, either. It’s one of the reasons my husband is a non-practicing wiccan – he just couldn’t get behind the ugliness of the people in the group. When they first reconnected, my husband wanted us to get to be better friends with her, since he missed many of his old friends from that group. We both pretty much agree that while many of those friends are good people with whom he’d like to keep contact, she’s just too much of a burden, so we don’t go to her parties anymore. Let’s face it, when you already admittedly hate people in general (I do), it’s tough to get motivated to be around someone like this. I like to keep the Dope to myself. I might talk about “this message board I frequent” but in general, I never mention it by name. There are damned few people that I would want to see on here, and those that I would like to see post here, I already have fantastic conversations with in person, so online would be kind of a waste. ---

Admittedly I’m not very techno-hip, and know nothing about blogs, text-messaging, chatrooms, IMing and whatnot, but I’ve always suspected that blogs exist so that self-involved simpletons like Willow can blather on _endlessly_ about themselves and their uber-uninteresting lives. This tends to confirm it.
