And, I’d like to teach them to sing someplace other than this fucking message board. Bitch about it all you want. I don’t care. I now DESPISE the sing-along threads. I think that they’re as useful as the “I got the last post” threads. What’s next? 99 bottles of beer on the wall? ---

That’s nothing. There’s this one Star Wars message board where, at least twice a month, they start threads where they write out the whole script to various Star Wars movies. Sometimes it’s a sentance per post, or a word per post. Once I saw one _letter_ per post. That’s why these sing-a-long posts don’t bother me in the slightest. Of course I was in a Star Wars message board, I should have realized what I was getting myself into. ---

There’s [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=78123) in ATMB at the moment. By the looks of things, the singalongs should be subsiding soon. And on an even more positive note, it might even lead to more entertaining about-the-fascist-mods bitchery by twits being upset their favorite singalongs are getting locked. Songs in the public domain are another matter, though. Those are simply skippable. ---
