# I'd like to teach the world to sing...

They bug the holy living fuck out of me, too, but I clicked on the goddamn Eagles one (I know I’ve mentioned on no less than three threads that I loathe the Eagles, BTW) because I saw Uncle Beer had made the last post at that moment. I figgered (hoped) he was telling everyone to knock it off, and I wanted to read that.

Instead, what he posted was a link back to an old thread I would have NEVER seen otherwise… in which someone explicated every single fucking line of Hotel California with no less than three or four possible interpretations (per line, I’m talking), including heavy peppering of biblical verses. It was the most outrageously annoying/funny/overdone thing I’ve read in a while _and it was made better by the fact that the author was absolutely earnest about it_.

So, something good can come of these threads. Cranky got a smile out of it, and let’s face it, that’s worth more than a solid gold dildo.
