ID That TV Show in 5 Clues

I love my Whedon people. Even if Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog isn’t a tv show.

Y’all have had 24 hours, so I’ll just post the answer.

Hill Street Blues

Riptide

I’ll be shocked if anyone get this (without looking it up):

  1. Robin Hood
  2. Parody
  3. “Just say when”
  4. Wednesdays
  5. ABC

When Things Were Rotten.

Mine is not a Sitcom or a Drama.

Underrated show, not on a major network.

If you have seen my show, you would get it. The clues per the show are easy, however, the show is not that well known. (Again, which is sad.)

1.Tek Jansen
[In my attempt to make this a harder set of clues, I think I just gave it away on the first clue.]
2.Notice Board
3.“Fract”
4.Better know a district
5.Tip of the Hat, Wag of the finger

  1. Mrs. Hufnagel
  2. serial rapist
  3. “You can kiss my ass.”
  4. Boomer
  5. birdman

The Colbert Report

Slight curve to the game here:

Name the show with the following actors, as Identified by their later roles:

Bill McNeal [NewsRadio]
Morpheus [The Matrix]
Lt. Anita Van Buren [Law and Order]
Andrew J. Lansing III [Murphy Brown]

and was also produced with

The Director of House of 1000 Corpses
And it still amazes me, that this cast was on THAT show.

You mean, going for the lesser known segments didn’t help?

Drat!

Correct.

C is “Make the Grade,” still one of my favorite Nickelodeon gameshows.

D is “Out of Control,” I think.

M is “Hi Honey, I’m Home.”

Looks like we finally got someone that can go toe to toe with me  .

CORRECT.

**CORRECT. **

and amazingly
**
CORRECT.**

It seems as if my take on this game is in the home stretch.

But, we have some of the more difficult ones still out.

Kingspades seems to me to be the type of person who might take even more shows of the list.

That being said, Here are the remaining clues from my Nickelodeon themed clue fest:

H: “Megabyte”

K. a title that a character would SEEMINGLY say on Mr.Rogers - except that he says something different.

L.“Word Bird” and a soundtrack featuring a Jew’s Harp. Not Shari Lois and Bram’s Elephant show

N. Whoopi Goldberg (and puppets)

O. A Top 10 list of Pop culture.

Hints:

H : The show was from the UK, yet, “Megabyte” was not.
K: Was a catchall type show for next to anything that Nick had.
L: “With my Knapsack on my back… Val da reeee, Val da rahhh, Val da ra ha ha ha…”
N : The newest show of the bunch (In order: N O H L K) Had only 3 Episodes.
O: Flopped Miserably, I only remember seeing it advertised once or twice. As far as I can tell, only had 1 episode.

This one’s “Count Duckula.” Wow, I guess I did watch more Nickelodeon as a kid than I thought. I always figured my younger brother was the culprit.

Nice! I was about ready to post the answer. Since you’re on a solid run, I’ll bump this one up; it is from the same generation, but not the same channel…

1.Bodega
2.Notepad
3.NYC
4.Max Mouse
5.Rally

You are correct, sir.

Damn, you gotta be over 30 to have gotten that one.

St. Elsewhere

Well sure, but that could be the answer for anyof these.

Arrested Development?

Pee-wee’s Playhouse?

Shiiiiiiit! I was hoping nobody’d get this so I could.
