There’s a commercial for Burger King where a singer–apparently a Black male with a really flat singing voice–sings something like the old “Hold the pickles, hold the lettuce” jingle with new lyrics. Is this a famous singer with a recognizable voice? I don’t think it’s Macklemore, but I don’t know current vocalists well enough to rule anybody out. ---

I too had thought it was Craig Robinson at first but then I decided it was someone meant to sound like Craig Robinson. Perhaps not, though - seems like it’s just how Crown tends to perform. ---

Hehe, my ex-roommate, who is in advertising, loves this ad.I can’t say I’m crazy about it, but I did know it and know what it was advertising. I’m pretty oblivious, so I’d say it works pretty well for their purposes.
