# ID this 80's tv show

My coworker is trying to remember the name of an 80’s tv show. It was a spoof of PI shows, but she says it was NOT Remington Steele. She remembers the main character talking to his gun and sleeping with it on his pillow.

I know it’s not a lot to go on, but I believe in you, Dopers!

Sounds a lot like SledgeHammer (which was recently released on DVD). Clever show with some good chracters. The main character spoofed the Dirty Harry/Charles Bronson type character.

Not even close. There’s a thread from 11 September 2001 with an 8, which was followed by a 10.
