# ID this actor from extremely vague description

This one is going to be tough because I don’t have much for you to work with.
I recently met a guy who reminds me of an actor, and it’s driving me crazy trying to figure out who it is. I can picture the actor in my mind but can’t pin down the specifics. Here’s what I’ve got:
White male, probably in his 40s or (now) 50s. Comedy roles only. Mostly absurdist comedy with some slapstick elements. I’m pretty sure he’s from a TV comedy troupe like Upright Citizens Brigade or The State (just looked through all the cast photos for both – no dice). Occasionally shows up in minor movie roles. Most of his characters are effete or sexually ambiguous. Definitely reminds me of a younger Christopher Guest. One role in particular I’m picturing him in Daisy Dukes, big fake eyelashes, ridiculous bowl cut, spastic movements, and a high-pitched lisp.
It’s also totally possible my googling actually HAS turned up the guy, but I just haven’t recognized him because he isn’t made up as the character that’s tickling my brain.
Ok, who’s got guesses?

I’m gonna guess that you’re thinking of one of the guys from [Kids In The Hall](http://images.moviepostershop.com/the-kids-in-the-hall-movie-poster-1988-1020276046.jpg) who isn’t Dave Foley.

Scott Thompson is on the right track, but not the guy.
I think the KITH guys are all a little old to be my mystery actor. He’s a little more recent.
