I remember reading a description either here or the newspaper about it, I’ve been meaning to pick it up but can never remember the title. The premise is that the Earth is dying or maybe running out of resources. Somehow a ship is sent to another planet that can harbor life. The crew if the ship then finds humans already there. This sound familiar to anyone?

Actually, I can think of a good half-dozen books offhand that match this approximate description. Any more details available? Approximate date of publication? Initials of the author?

I’m pretty sure that was published within the last two years. I also believe the author was a woman.

It could be this, I suppose:
[Kay Kenyon](http://www.amazon.com/Braided-World-Kay-Kenyon/dp/0553583794/sr=8-1/qid=1161641080/ref=sr_1_1/102-3347658-1845708?ie=UTF8&s=books) title, or maybe [Hilari Bell](http://www.amazon.com/Navohar-Hilari-Bell/dp/0451457889/sr=1-10/qid=1161641229/ref=sr_1_10/102-3347658-1845708?ie=UTF8&s=books) , although this one sounds a bit less likely…

This sounds a bit like [Crossfire](http://www.amazon.com/Crossfire-Nancy-Kress/dp/0765343894), by Nancy Kress, although in that book the population of the new planet is not human.

It’s the Kay Kenyon title. Thanks.
