I heard this on the radio a few days ago. The vocalist was male. I don’t know whether the song sampled ‘Roar,’ or what, but it sounded a lot like it. That’s all the info I have.

Are you sure it wasn’t a cover? There are lots of those. A sample search only shows one, but that doesn’t rule out any illegally sampled. But neither option is likely on the radio.

Two recent anthemic pop songs with male leads that come to mind are either Pompeii by Bastille, or Some Nights by Fun.

People thought it sounded a lot like Brave by Sara Bareilles when it came out.

Thanks, all. Might have been just a radio spot that was cribbing some of the music, this might be a wild goose chase.
