Can anyone help ID a time travel movie from either the 1980s or 1990s? It involved several black teens who travel from the 1980s or 90s back to the 1960s during segregation. One scene had one of the teen boys attempting to play baseball at a public park, but is rejected by the white teen boys there. At the end, one of the teen girls recognizes a family friend, who she has never met in the present but did in the time travel, in a photo. Any help would be appreciated.

I think that’s it. I remember the sit-in part now and vaguely remember Whoopi Goldberg in it. Thank you.

No worries. I found it by stumbling on this interestingly specific Wikipedia category: [African-American speculative fiction films](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:African-American_speculative_fiction_films)
