How in the hell is this even enforceable? Won’t HIPPA overrule this? This is headed for Federal Court, and I predict it will be struck down. ---

It sounds like the data collected doesn’t identify the patients directly, so that may not violate HIPAA. ---

There’s enough details in what they have to report that someone could likely easily figure out who the patients are. So even though the name is left out, it could be construed as indentifying those patients. ---

And it looks like I may have to stop by a gynecologist, or two, on my summer trip through the potato state. I am happy to be added to their list of abortion recipients… after being in several experimental vasectomy studies, I don’t have anything to lose. Now I just need to find a cooperative doctor who will give a sterile man a complementary abortion.
