OK, I’m trying to remember a novel, and I imagine I might not be the only one who will wanting to find some obscure literary memory, so… Semi-perminant? Novel in question: Something about wolf-were. Not a werewolf, but a wolf that was bitten by a werewolf (human in wolf phase), and finds itself unexpectedly becoming human three or so days a month. Location is NYC, and I recall it wasn’t a particularly good novel, but I was trying to remember something obscure that turned the usual cliches on their heads for my daughter’s SF-Appreciation class (yes, the Uni has a class on reading SF). I think I read it in the 90s? Any thoughts? ---

I remember reading that! Funny, for a bit, yeah, but it got kinda dark toward the climax. ---
