# Identify this Animated Movie Set in the 50's

I have a vague childhood memory of seeing a movie on Cinemax or something. It was animated, and it took place in the 1950’s (as far as I can tell). However, this 50’s was dystopian and portrayed a gritty, crime-ridden, urban landscape with racial tensions, child abuse, and other societal ills.
The main character was a tough hoodlum type, with the leather jacket, greased hair, etc. The guy wanted to be left alone, but he had a lackey who thought he was worthy of being the tough guy’s sidekick, though he was socially awkward and stupid. The tough guy didn’t really like the lackey, but tolerated him because he pitied him (maybe).
Two scenes I remember: the lackey putting on a Zoot Suit and the tough guy being unimpressed; and a scene where a Puerto Rican floozy runs afoul of her father and gets beaten with a belt.
Anyone remember?

Actually, after looking at Bakshi’s wikipedia entries, I’m betting it’s [Hey Good Lookin’](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hey_Good_Lookin%27_(film)). I haven’t seen it, but it sounds like a better match.
