# Identify this British song

I am looking for a song where I only have a vivid recollection of the video.  
They were performing at the BBC’s Top of the Pops.  
There was one guy singing kind of monotonous with a drumcomputer.  
He was wearing an old military uniform and in the background there was a line of people with old-fashioned instruments, tuba, drum and things.  
There was something in the lyrics about drums and there was a line “rom-pom-pom-pom” repeated in every chorus a few times.  
Anybody any idea?
