I remember hearing a snippet off a classic bluesman on [this](http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/r2music/documentaries/robertjohnson.shtml)documentary about Robert Johnson(or one like it, the one I saw/heard may have been on TV).

The gist of the song was about “The devil stalking the land”. Other than that I have nothing, I’m guessing he was a contemporary of Robert Johnson. I’m on a blues tip right now and have drawn a blank identifying him.

Not much to go on, I know. But any ideas ?

Lonnie Johnson or Tommy Johnson come to mind (neither relations of Robert).
