I’ve looked in the FAQ, I went to the homepage, I did a google site on the search, and I can’t find them…do I have to unregister/reregister to see them??

If you are looking for the rules that you agreed to when you registered, I think the only way to get to them is by “logging out” and then click the register icon.

Go the main forum page, in the lower right corner is the “[log out](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/member.php?action=clearcookies)” link. Then if you click the [register icon](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/member.php?action=signup), you are presented with the basic rules. Then just back out and log back in.

They are changing things like the FAQ section and I think it is on their list to make it a little easier to get to the rules.
