I’m a complete nobody around here, but for a few minutes I felt like somebody liked me. Aw, damn. I also was thinking April Fool’s joke, or that **Idle Thoughts** had forgotten to log out of a public PC somewhere. ---

I think it’s important, now that **Idle Thoughts** has seen fit to share this very private matter with us all, that we are understanding and supportive. After all, I am told this is controlled largely by genetics. It is not a choice, and many people with this condition go on to lead fairly normal lives. Regards, Shodan ---

I don’t much care what the topic of the PM was (I don’t swing that way, but I’m not bothered by it). The issue is simulating a hacking of the board (I think it goes without saying that that would be the assumption of anyone getting the PM and noticing the sender is a moderator). I really don’t think it is wise to ever pretend that the board has been hacked, April Fool’s Day or otherwise. Remember, the board **was** hacked a while back. Remember the story of The Boy Who Cried Wolf. ---
