It’s sure as hell a lot more conciliatory than I think is warranted, based on the molehill magnitude of the offense. My version would probably have been, “It was wrong of me to think you people are reasonable. I’m truly sorry I made that mistake. I won’t do it again.” A bona-fide three-element apology! ---

Just for the record (since it’s still being referenced from time to time), but **Chefguy** and I talked to each other in PM and resolved it all shortly after he made that post. **LSLGuy** and I too. ---

Given the obvious date and subject matter, I strongly suspected a April fools prank. Total strangers typically don’t out themselves in a pm. I appreciated the attempt at humor. YMMV. ---

O.k. I need to say something. The attitude that **Idle Thoughts** displays is problematic. The dude treats the board as his own personal playground. The board had to create a whole 'nother forum because he likes “thread games”, and now he is playing again. **Idle Toughts** is pushing this board in to bullshit banality. ---

The more I read these two threads, the more I believe Idle Thoughts has pulled off something very Andy-Kauffmanesque. Never have I seen so many people at this board so incensed and outraged at another man’s idea of simple performance comedy. Well done, madam, well done!
