# If a hurricane derailed your wedding, would you take it as a bad sign?

perhaps i would consider it a sign if the hurricane shared a name with either the bride or groom.

i canceled a wedding, for signs other than weather. when the intended date arrived, a nor’easter did as well. 21" of snow. i figured it was nature’s way of saying i made the right decision.
