# If a thread's in the wrong forum, how do I report it?

Ok, so I’m playing Junior Mod. Ick. I don’t like it, but last time I didn’t, the whole thread got sniped at by a real mod for not alerting the mods. But when I click “report”, it gives me this scary message

So what do I do? I don’t want to get mod-slapped, even as part of a group. 🙂

That language you quoted, from the report form, is what’s presented by the basic VBB coding, which **jdavis** has not seen fit to change. But the mods have been very explicit that whatever calls for official moderator action ought to be reported. Obviously the proper tone is not to play “Junior Mod.” but rather to draw their attention to something you think ought to be moved.
