If George W. Bush were willing to speak out against ant-Muslim prejudice, would you want him to?

As a non-American I would be be impacted just as much as if Britney Spears, Barack Obama or Paris Hilton — or anyone else in the entertainment industry spoke out on this or any other subject.
We don’t take your presidents that seriously.

I loathe the man and he ran this country into the ground. But you know what? I say go for it. Really, he’s pretty harmless now so if it helps with tolerance in this country, so be it. Hell, maybe history will actually be somewhat kind to him if he did a good job of it.

I couldn’t stand Dubya, but I think that ex-presidents get a certain pass as local (and foreign) ambassadors. If he can speak convincingly to the population in this country that holds those beliefs and clear up a number of misconceptions, I think it would go a long way.

It’s difficult to take you seriously if you think Barack Obama is in the entertainment industry.

I have tessered three cookies to your location. One is delicious and wholesome; one is repulsive in taste and wholesome; one is delicious and poisonous.

Why is the left begging for help from someone they hated?

Why can’t the guy who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize handle this situation by himself?

Bush should say nothing. This is just a transparent call to shift responsibility away from those currently in authority. Besides, he already did this when President and this did not endear him at all to anyone including his opponents.

Mouth shut, all I hear is blah blah blah when he talks anyway. Goddamn idiot.
