# If gravity is not a force, why do things move?

This is the analogy Sean makes. Every other field is like a pendulem hanging from the ceiling (vacuum state). The higgs field is like a pendulem fastened to the floor sticking straight up and it falls down (vacuum state). That is what causes mass. I don’t get it… just throwin it out there.
