# If I forget to log out will it affect how many can log in after me?

I read there’s a limit, like 100.
I hope the connections time-out after a while.
I’m on cable, so I don’t disconnect.

Yes, thank you. I’d read Jerry/jdavis’ first comments when they came out and then couldn’t find the thread.
For the benefit of anyone reading this that missed the original, here’s the key quote:

If I’m helping at the library and use SD as a reference and then forget to sign out, can I still sign in later at home, or do I have to go back there?
That is, do sign-ins time out or expire? Or are they the cookie thing and not in your computer at all?
(Sorry, I know what cookies are for, but the more I know, the less I understand. Why don’t you keep everything at your computer?)
