While it is true that Congress could not pass a law disbanding the US Supreme Court, the standard procedure for amending the US Constitution would seem to be both applicable and legal.
Good Lord though, WHY would you want to remove the Supreme Court?
Congress can pass any law that it wants to. It simply is not true that Congress could not pass such a law. If Congress passed the law, then one would have to attack the law as unconstitutional, which would raise some complicated issues. And I’m not advocating passage of a law disbanding the Supreme Court. I was merely pointing out that such a law would present a similar conundrum.
