Eve honey, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. You know I do freelance copyediting and proofreading. Anytime the pressure gets to be too much, just schlep some of that stuff to me. I know I’m cheap by Noo Yawk standards. Well, obviously I am in a better mood than I was last week—they even gave me a surprise party yesterday, as they knew how ticked-off I was that they weren’t mentioning my book in the mag. Who knows, Chef—if I wind up playing Loretta Young on AMC, you can have ALL of my editing work! ---
