I have a bag fetish, too. Not for ‘purses’ per se, but the eternal search for the ultimate in convenience and utility. Books, book cases, tools . . . and irises. And socks. Socks were the thing I’d splurge on when I was broke. Socks are utilitarian. But if i spent another buck or two to get a pair that’s fluffy or whimsical, I’d feel like I was splurging and staying virtuous at the same time. There would also be some sushi in there, but _collecting_ sushi would be a bad thing. ---

DVDS and CDs. Books, of course. And homeless animals. By that I mean I’d probably go down to the animal shelter and come back with two dozen dogs and three dozen cats. Why not, if I’ve got the space and money to feed all the poor things? ---

For small, everyday things that I can’t get enough of, comics and anime. But my biggest (and financially unattainable) dream is to collect Doctor Who props. I’d have an entire army of Daleks if I could, and the TARDIS, and an Ood, and… ---

Books. Songs on my iPod. DVD sets of all my favorite old shows. Cats. Dogs. And a bunch of lizards and snakes. And… you know what? Let’s just say pets. Purses. (I almost exploded with delight when I found [this](http://1154lill.com/custombags/) site.) Brightly colored or elaborately designed, well fitting shirts. African masks for my walls. Stained glass windows. Sculptures. Furniture - sofas, beds, benches. Those big seat/coat hook combinations that you put in mud rooms. Comfy throw blankets. I can spend hours looking though furniture and houseware catalogs. Stuffed animals. And the rest of my house would be littered with my husband’s sports cars, computers, legos, and swords. ---

Home decor. My home is quite small and there’s only so much I can buy and still have a liveable space. But if I had the room it would be filled with flea market stuff, Eames, Hans Wegner, Etsy finds, vintage furniture, and random pretty things. ---
