Evil One, the only upside I can see to NYC being nuked is that I’d be dead and would neither be subjected to rants like the above or further pointless violations of my rights by people who think like you do.
Well that’s a relief. I mean, yeah, Durbin questioned what the government is doing in Guantanamo, but if you say “it’s been dealt with,” problem solved. I was starting to worry. Incidentally, does it bother you at all that when responding to various mistreatments by American soldiers, you immediately resort to comparisons to Nazis and terrorists? It’s like Godwin in reverse. Whoever compares anybody to Nazi Germany wins because he’s proven that anything they do is not so bad.
Anyway, back to your posts: we’ll continue making mistakes and dealing with them, and making mistakes and dealing with them. And you’ll keep criticizing the people who point out the mistakes by saying that even when you violate your own laws and principles, compared to monsters, it’s not so bad. Because pointing out these problems (which, gee, I thought might be part of “dealing with them”) “weakens our resolve” or some other loyalist drivel.
