Its up to each person to decide what they want their life to mean. There are as many meanings to life as their are people.
Other than that, you may as well ask whats the meaning of a rose bush.
I forget who first pointed it out, but this idea is basically the core of the claim that, if no finite amount of life can ultimately be meaningful (i.e., if you are willing to say "yes, but if you die, and there is no afterlife, it was all for nothing, and doesn’t matter), than neither can an infinite duration of life. 0+0+0… never adds up to anything but 0. Indeed, only if individual portions of life are meaningful does eternity seem like a good deal (you have ot have something worth preserving before you’d really care about preserving it eternally)
Yes. The problem is not that it isn’t possible, but that it’s not clear what difference a superior being would make to whether or not life is meaningful. For instance, your parents are superior to you in many ways. And they may even have had many purposes they hoped you would serve when they concieved and raised you. But that doesn’t necessarily imply that you’ll find their purposes meaningful, or take on their purposes as your own purpose. So it’s a very different sort of question.
And this is a question for the theists. What is the meaning of God’s existence?
