At a minimum, I’d expect it for the six “battleground” states (Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin). At the extreme end, the Trumpy Republicans could challenge ever state that Biden carried. But, ultimately, we won’t know until it happens. ---

Good Question. Pence already screwed up by ignoring a valid Parliamentary Inquiry as debate. It should be noted that this has happened before a few times as a political statement in previous elections. Anyone remember Maxine Waters crazy-ass objection to Florida’s EVs for Bush? The real question is will this be a simple statement like before or are the Pubs going full out and try to get those votes from all those states thrown out? ---

I’ve held the position that the Republican establishment gave Trump a long leash in an effort to prevent a torpedoing of the GA elections. That backfired. At this point McConnell doesn’t give a rats ass about Trump. ---

McConnell is pure slime, but smart, slime who knows how to read the weather, and play the game. This entire show is a bunch of self-serving crap. It may help\* these idiots in the positioning in the party and the Primaries, but it will do nothing but hurt the party overall. The Crimson red districts might eat it up, but the purple parts of the country just got two decades worth of Traction from the simple phrase " Remember when the GOP tried to remove your agency to vote for president?" Note\* I’m still ll thinking there is a good that once the Trump stench is burned out of the White House, the Hoi Polloi lemmings of the republican party will start to turn on him, growing into a personality cult for someone else, and being a certified Trumper will be an Albatross by next election cycle, as the reality of him costing them everything sets in. I can think of nothing more sweet than Cruz, begging and pleading to be the one who gets to lick the shit off of the King’s boots, (even after the Ugly Wife/ Assassin father stuff) , ending up being even more hated for it in the long term. ---

I am watching right now as Trump’s Insurrectionists have broken through the barriers and past the police, and are entering the Capitol. There are injuries and reportedly blood on the steps of the Capitol. Trump openly called for this great betrayal of the Democratic process, and he should get full blame for what is currently happening. ---
