# If someone appeals equally to all segments of the US, aren't mostly appealing to the "uneducated"?

That is correct. There are very few uneducated people in this country. There are far more over-educated people than un-educated. And often looking at how the educated often think one can surmise that education isn’t very effective.

I think of this also sometimes. 100 years ago the difference between educated and uneducated meant someone who could read vs. someone who was illiterate. I think that is a much bigger gap than what we have today.
