Absolutely is allowed. That being said, the best option is to ignore them and not respond. ---

I always separated internet life and real life. Internet feelings werenā€™t real feelings in my view. If someone hurt my internet feelings, I knew I needed to get the fuck over that noise, and fast. If someone I cared about in real life hurt me intentionally, I would want to address it seriously. But I learned from the dope that many, many people here donā€™t look at it that way. A lot of posters have actually seemed surprised at my view and donā€™t really draw a distinction between how they look at real life people and internet people. They _do_ think they know you, and that you know them and they are super invested. There was a thread about it once, and it was a real eye opener for me. ---

Ignore the post and possibly even the poster if thatā€™s all they do. ---

Generally speaking, they usually are man child types who try to pretend they actually leave their homes (or parents homes) upon occasion and actually understand how people interact face to face. They then offer advice and, of course, the appropriate tsk, tsk to others. Luckily, that is within the rules. ---
