Mayonnaise for me - yeah, I don’t like a lot of dressings and sauces. w/r/t mushrooms, I won’t eat pizza with shrooms because they’re too hard to pick off concreted to the cheese and/or hidden, but I can pick them off if I accidentally a salad that has them in it. And sometimes actually order Chicken Marsala, because I actually like the flavor that the mushrooms add to it, I just pick them out because I don’t like their texture. ---

I can’t think of a single deal-breaker food. There are things I probably won’t order because I like other stuff better, but nothing that keeps me from ordering any dish that contains it. ---

Ooh, I though of another one - fruit on a savory dish. Duck a l’orange, lemon chicken, apple sauce with pork - yeach. I like fruit, I like meat, but not together please. And anyone sneaking sultanas into a curry should be shot on sight. ---

Onions. And the annoying thing is that people keep trying to talk me into liking them. “Oh, you can barely taste them in this!” or “The way they are cooked in this, they’re sweet!” Bleck. No. I can taste them and they are foul. ---

There’s nothing I won’t eat, but if I suspect it might have Liquid Smoke in it, I tend to avoid it (though not completely as a rule.) It just tastes chemically-sooty to me. Also, along the same lines, I tend to avoid any type of crockpot or baked “barbecue.” It’s usually cooked to such a soft texture you could suck it through a straw. That ain’t meat. But, yeah, if you put it in front of me, I’ll eat it. Like I said, I’ll eat anything. I just won’t necessarily order it. ---

Yams, but they usually aren’t components of stuff. More likely - raspberries, blueberries, other sweet stuff some restaurants use in salsas. Yech. (Strawberries are fine, though.) ---
