I prefer to get my fiber from other sources; I only eat celery as part of another meal, not because I don’t like it but because I don’t eat it by itself (there is also no truth behind [colon cleansing](http://www.livescience.com/947-colon-cleansing-money-toilet.html); food waste just doesn’t accumulate in your intestines unless you have a real problem). ---

Come to think of it that cartoon (from the 50’s or60’s?) is actually pretty advanced for its time as it simply suggests consuming more fiber. Before bran was invented. ---
