Umm … that was before new election laws came out in Georgia, the one with sweeping changes to absentee and in-person voting, and that thing about giving food and water to people waiting in super long lines. ---

You have pointed out that there were, in the past, some republicans who stood up to Trump. What you have not acknowledged that most of these Republicans have been replaced with those who will be more inclined to go along with election shenanigans in order to get their prefered candidates elected. ---

You really seem to be missing the point here, and I’m not sure how to make it any clearer. Yes, this one person is still SOS for Georgia, but that doesn’t mean that our elections are safe and sound. For one, that’s just one state, for two, Georgia, even with your sainted Raffensperger in as SOS, passed laws making it harder to vote, with Georgia even passing a bill replacing the non-partisan board of elections for the largest (and left leaning) counties. So, you are correct that Raffensberger stood up and refused to break the law for Trump. What you are ignoring is that he then went on to _change_ those laws so that next time he wants to interfere with an election, he won’t have to break any laws. I thought that LSLGuy was accusing Pubs of future election fraud. RitterSport pointed out the new laws so OK, yeah that may change things so I concede that point. But you and LSLGuy are pointing out that there is a nebulous **they** that will overturn the elections without saying who or how. Like if you said Whitey Oldman just got appointed to the Georgia Supreme Court and now it is 5 to 4 Pubs in the majority, I’d remember back to Bush v. Gore and say, “Now I get your point.” If you said that county election boards can now be overturned by a state board that is 8 Pubs and 5 Dems I’d say “Now I get your point.” So who are the Pub election officials that will participate in election fraud?
