It is pretty common among Evangelical Christians to think Trump is the only thing holding the Evil Satanic Liberals from rounding up and disposing of all Christians (figurative or literally.) It comes straight from the leadership. Here are two of the most recent examples. (I didn’t quickly dig up any of the “literally dispose of Christians” ones on my phone, but they are there. They literally believe that Trump is The Chosen One and that Liberals are controlled by demons.)
